For over 30 years, year 12 students across Australia have celebrated the end of high school with Schoolies week. Schoolies.com is here to ensure that they celebrate this momentous occasion in style and safety!

2. Do the Schoolies get a wristband and Building ID Pass?back to the top

The wristbands are issued by the Qld Government for Gold Coast Schoolies only. Every Schoolie must bring a year 12 school ID to receive a wristband. Schoolies.com provides a Building ID pass on a Schoolies.com lanyard which enables them to access the building they have chosen to stay at. *Some properties outside of the Gold Coast area may not require a building ID pass.

Schoolies.com has specialised in organising accommodation and running Schoolies events for over 30 years. As a specialist we know what to do to make sure our customers have an amazing and memorable Schoolies week. We also know what is required to ensure that the event is enjoyed in a safe environment. Security precautions will be in place throughout the Schoolies event including security guards at all buildings. Photo ID building passes will also be provided to all Schoolies guests.

4. How do I get a Schoolies Photo ID / Building ID pass for my bookings?back to the top

Building ID passes will be available to collect at check in at your hotel or at Schoolies Central for the Gold Coast. Select the Upload Photo button and follow the prompts. All photos must be uploaded by final payment.

Schoolies weeks for 2022 are as follows:

You can register your travel agency by completing the details on our registration page ta.Schoolies.com

8. How do I book?back to the top

You can book your Schoolies week accommodation by logging onto our website via the travel agents log in ta.Schoolies.com

9. How much deposit do I need to pay to book?back to the top

Deposits vary depending on the destination and year. For 2022 & 2023 Byron Bay & Fiji = $200 per person and all other destinations = $150 per person. For 2024 and beyond all destinations = $200 per person. All deposits are non-refundable.

10. How do I pay the deposit?back to the top

The deposit must be paid at the time of booking using either Visa or Mastercard.

11. How do I make further payments?back to the top

You can make further payments on our website at any time by logging in via the travel agent area ta.Schoolies.com Payments can be made using Visa, Mastercard or a direct deposit.

12. Do you have any other payment methods other than credit card?back to the top

Payments can only be made by credit card or a direct deposit. Alternative payment methods may be available in future and you will be informed.

13. What is the deadline for final payment?back to the top

The final payment deadline will be advised to you at time of booking.

14. What happens if I do not pay by the due date?back to the top

The booking will be at risk of being cancelled. All people in the group must have paid in full to prevent the booking from cancelling.

15. How can I view a booking?back to the top

You can view your bookings by logging into ta.Schoolies.com and entering your email address and password.

16. Can I make changes to a booking after it has been made?back to the top

You will be able to make the following changes to your booking by logging into the booking via the travel agents log in area ta.Schoolies.com

  • Edit the name of a group member
  • Change the contact details of members of the group
  • Cancel a group member
  • Cancel a room
  • Make further payments
  • Replace a person
Some changes may incur a $60 amendment fee per person, per change.

17. What happens if my client wishes to change buildings?back to the top

Building changes are permitted, subject to availability. There is an amendment fee of $60 per person. All building changes must be received in writing to info@Schoolies.com from the email that is linked to your travel agent portal.

18. Is there a deadline for any changes?back to the top

Changes are not permitted after the final payment deadline.

19. How many people can stay in a room?back to the top

The room description will include information about the maximum number of people that can share a room. Due to fire and safety regulations, this number cannot exceed the maximum. Any students found to have more than the maximum number of people in their room will risk eviction and loss of any monies paid.

20. How much is the bond and what is it for?back to the top

Bond amounts may vary and will be shown at time of making the booking. The bond amount is typically $200 per person and is required to be paid by the final payment due date. This is to cover any incidental charges or damages. Bonds are refunded at the end of the trip providing there is no damage done to the property.

21. How do I get the bond back?back to the top

To claim your bond, please log in with your Travel Agent Login 10 days after departure. Select the Bond Refund button and follow the prompts. Please note Bond Refunds WILL NOT be processed by telephone or email.

22. What happens if I need to cancel a Schoolies booking?back to the top

If the booking is cancelled before the final payment deadline, the deposit will be forfeited. If the booking is cancelled after the final payment deadline, full payment will be retained by Schoolies.com. Cancellations must be advised by email to Schoolies.com, alternatively you may cancel anyone by logging into the booking via the website.

23. What happens if one of the people in the booking wants to cancel their place?back to the top

If a member of a group wishes to cancel, the per person price for the remaining members of the group will increase. Any cancellations will be subject to loss of deposit or full payment, subject to the date the cancellation is made. Alternatively, if the group can find another person to replace the member of the group that wishes to cancel, simply use the 'replace' person button to change the name on the booking. In this instance the deposit will be transferred to the new person. Name changes are not permitted after the final payment deadline.

24. Can I edit a name on the booking?back to the top

To edit a name on a booking simply select the booking from your list of bookings, then select the edit details button. If you change the name completely, the travel insurance will be invalid. If you wish to change to a different person entirely, please use the 'replace' button.

25. Why has the per person balance owing increased?back to the top

The per person balance owing may have increased if a person has cancelled from a room. If another person is found to replace this person the balance owing will change again. The cost of the accommodation is calculated on a per person basis, not per room.

26. What happens if I cancel a person in the group after full payment has been made?back to the top

If a person cancels after their final payment due date the full payment will be forfeited. If a person cancels before their final payment due date and full payment has been received, all monies will be refunded less the non-refundable deposit, the credit card and amendment fees, and insurance (if applicable).

27. Can I move a booking to a different date?back to the top

Subject to availability, you may be able to move your booking to a different date. There is an amendment fee of $60 per person to do this.

28. What are house rules?back to the top

House rules are the building's individual terms and conditions which the students agree to abide by during their stay. You must ensure that the members of the group have read the house rules for their building. By confirming a booking, you are confirming that the members of the group have read and agree to these rules.

29. Should my clients take out travel insurance?back to the top

Schoolies.com recommends that all travellers take out travel insurance.

30. When will I receive the travel documents?back to the top

The travel documents will be made available on our website around 14 days before check in for all domestic travel and 45 days before check in for all international travel. Documents will not be made available until full payment has been received for all members in the group.

31. How do I know credit card details are safe on your website?back to the top

Schoolies.com uses SSL for all credit card transactions. SSL is a secure method of transmitting information over the internet. Schoolies.com does not store any credit card information.

32. Where do the Schoolies events take place?back to the top

Traditionally the Gold Coast in Queensland has been the most popular destination for year 12 graduates. Schoolies.com offers a huge choice of the most popular buildings on the Gold Coast, plus a great range of alternative destinations including Byron Bay, Fiji, Bali, Airlie Beach, Victoria, Perth, Sunshine Coast & South Australia.

33. How do I receive my commission?back to the top

You only need to pay us the nett due, so you retain your commission.

34. Do you have a travel brochure?back to the top

We currently do not stock a travel brochure, but pdf flyers are available for you to download on our website. We also have flyers we can send to you in the post.

35. What are your office hours?back to the top

We are based in Queensland and are open Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm.

36. What time is check in?back to the top

Check in typically starts from 2pm however your check in time will be confirmed on the guests Travel Documents which we will issue to you 14 days prior to travel. Check in times vary from property to property and can be later than 2pm due to additional cleaning requirements.
